We are pleased to announce that Dr. Tariq Marikar has been assigned to the additional role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), alongside his current role as VP – Systems & Analytics.
In this role, Tariq will lead the organization’s information security and cybersecurity governance, overseeing security risk management, compliance, and the protection of systems and data across all locations.
He brings deep IT security experience from highly regulated banking environments, with a strong track record in enterprise security programs, regulatory compliance, infrastructure and data security, access management, and incident response. His practical, hands-on leadership will further strengthen our security posture while supporting business growth and digital initiatives.
As CISO, Tariq will work closely with executive leadership and global technology teams to ensure security is embedded across systems, processes, and strategic initiatives.
