Job description

The Billing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing staff in duties pertaining to patient billing, communications with health insurance, collections, cash posting, account management, and contract analysis. The RCM is also responsible for ensuring all Department functions, policies and procedures are updated and maintained and aligned with best practice by the Management team.

The Manager will maintain a good working relationship with all facilities to ensure clear communication. Manager should be able to work in a team environment and need to be comfortable working closely with an offshore team. Director is the liaison with the CBO providing any support needed to produce accurate and timely billing for processing hospital A/R. Duties & Responsibilities

Manager should be able to assist with client onboarding, acquisitions/divestitures, system implementations.

Requirements-

  • Three to five years (3-5 years) of Hospital Revenue Cycle management required.
  • Managing staff performance by providing regular feedback, performance reviews, and one-on-one meetings.
  • Efficiently managing patient complaints in respect of billing and collections.
  • Planning and structuring the department workflow and staffing.
  • Correctly coding diagnoses and procedures
  • Providing issue/resolution related to denial management
  • Manage all aspects of Patient Access including preregistration, insurance verification, point-of-service collections, financials, and registration ensure timely processing and patient flow
  • Performs all department functions, as necessary
  • Strong analytical skills required
  • Collaborates with clinics and/or provider offices to ensure efficient flow of accurate patient information
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or required Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced computer skills required to provide reporting
