Cristy Norton, BS, RHIA, CPC, CPC-I, is the Director of Coding and Compliance at Legacy Health LLC. Cristy is a Senior Executive leader with over 25 years in health care and 20 years in Revenue Cycle Strategic Leadership. Prior to joining Legacy Health, she was Director of Coding and Revenue Integrity, overseeing compliance and auditing, for a large operator of surgical facilities with over 17 Surgical hospitals and over 100 Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Her previous progressive roles include coding and documentation training for 820-bed trauma and teaching hospital, ambulatory and outpatient clinics; and coding management for a 600 physician faculty group practice.

Cristy brings over 20 years of experience in coding compliance serving our clients with initial coding audits and on-going improvements in coding review and analysis. She coaches and collaborates with Legacy’s team and client team through the implementation, integration and financial management and analysis of your healthcare business.
